Mother's Day High-tea on 7th May 2006

D'vineShots is one of the sponsors for this special event. It was held at Singgahsana Hall, Kampong Melayu, Singapore from 2 - 5pm. This is also in conjunction to help raise funds for Ain Society. Invited artistes were Singapore Idol, Taufik Batisah and ex-Anugerah finalist from year 1999 to 2005. It was a high energy event, the guest enjoyed themselves and it really made all mothers there proud.

This funny couple got married on May 06. I am actually was their replacement photographer for their hari sanding and their outdoor shots. It was a very hot morning, the videographer came along too just to take bits of clips from the outdoor shots. Was a very enjoyable outing at the same time.

Sharlynn & Isrin got married on April 06. Their shots were done with 2 photographer including me. The other photographer is an apprentice as he still needs to know the customs of a Malay wedding. Kudos to Colin for some of the shots in this wedding.

My domain name dilemma
|

To my clients who used to know that my domain name was www.dvineshots.com .... now I shall explain why the change to www.dvineshots.gp.sg happens.
When its time for me to renew my domain name via online, yes I did renew. But they claimed that they did not receive the transaction until a registra company have bought over my domain name. This company would simply hold on to my domain name with a price tag that they offer. So to solve it, I host it with a company that gives www.yourcompanyname.gp.sg.
Sorry for all the inconvenience caused if you have been clicking on to the .com all this while.

Exploring Sentosa
|
|
This fasting month is a break for me in taking wedding shots, so I took the initiative to call up my friend who does studio n outdoor shots to call me when there is an outing. He is a fulltime photographer at one of the shophouses along Tanjong Pagar Road, and when its around 4 to 4.30 pm you can see all the couples and photographers coming out of the studio shops to go out and do their outdoor shots, a very kewl sight. Last Wednesday shots was at Sentosa, Singapore's island resort. One of the popular shooting spots in Singapore. We were actually suppose to go to 3 location in Sentosa but was cut short to 2 because of his client's request.
I will do more exploring for onsite location shots for D'vineShots this month and after Hari Raya in order for me to kick start my studio and outdoor wedding shots. This will come with a 20 page coffeebook album that will definately make my clients fascinated.

This couple had a great time at their wedding. The groom happened to stay near my block just round the corner. I got to know that Irman is also Liverpool fan like me when I was shooting him in his room during preparation for nikah. Haillllllll to all Liverpoooollllll fans!!!!

Ha haaaa. Hujung minggu, kalau tak saturday, sunday mesti pergi rumah my parent inlaw. Same with my sis inlaw lah. Jadi kecoh ah rumah tu. Today, I just decide to bring my camera along cause its my wife's birthday. Ingat kan plan nak cut the cake lepas buka puasa, skali the cake cutting ceremony sudah kene hijack dengan my anak sedara yg gilakan birthday cake ceremony. Dia pulak yg potong tu cake, kalau tak kasi, nangis. Lantak ah.
Anyways, happy birthday to my wife. Semoga jadi isteri yang soleha, jangan suka menjawab, panjang umur, murah rezki, dan pandai amik gambar. Also the attached fotos are my bro inlaw, my dad and my son.

Siti and Idzhar got married on December 05. I remember that I started off very early in the morning to start shooting from her side and then move over to his side to shoot him getting ready for the nikah ceremony. It was a lovely wedding. They had a great time and so are the guest.
